SK Sports Policies
Term and conditions
1. The acceptance of Terms and Conditions show you agree to adhere by them, as amended from time to time, with or without notice to you. ‘SK Academy Ltd" provides the service of fully qualified coaches but it does not accept the responsibility to your child for injury and damage, or loss to personal property.
2. The safety and enjoyment of all participants is our main priority, however, due to the physical nature of the sport we cannot guarantee mild accidents will not occur. Therefore we recommend each child dresses appropriately for the session. If indoors wearing top, shorts, long socks covering shin pads is recommended .If sessions are outside, and the weather is hot, putting sun cream on, and, if cold having layered clothing on is recommended. Wear shin pads if possible and appropriate footwear for the surface of play.
3. To help us further ensure that the children have lots of fun we encourage parents to stay and watch outside or participate.
4. ‘SK Academy Ltd’ encourages all different ages/race/religion/sex to participate. Sessions can vary according to the diversity of the group. In order to manage this process ‘SK Academy Ltd’ asks all parents/guardians, of all children, participating to notify us at the earliest stage of any medical conditions, allergies, medications or additional needs.
5. SK Academy Ltd will adapt the sessions according to players ability. We are qualified FA Coaches, allowing us to tailor the sessions so the participants are getting the maximum enjoyment out of the sessions.
Payment
1. The terms shall be deemed to have been accepted by the parent upon payment of the fee either by or on behalf of the parent. Payment by the carer shall be deemed to have been made on behalf of the parent.
2. The parent or carer agrees to keep the content of ‘SK Academy Ltd’ confidential and not to copy or use any aspect of ‘SK Academy Ltd’ directly or indirectly. The parent or guardian agrees not to directly or indirectly manage, operate or assist in the organisation of any business which competes with ‘SK Academy Ltd’ while the child is a member of ‘SK Academy Ltd’.
3. The parent or guardian shall pay the full amount stated to ‘SK Academy Ltd’ prior to the child commencing on the football course.
4. The fee is non-refundable except by prior agreement with the management of ‘SK Academy Ltd’ where due discretion has been given for unique circumstances. An “Act of God” (disruption resulting from extreme weather conditions), industrial transport strikes, terrorist activity, child/parent/guardian discipline problems, or where local authority’s/public guidance advise that classes should be temporarily suspended for health or other reasons do not qualify as a unique circumstance, or reason for deferment of classes during the affected period.
Cancellation
1. SKAcademy Ltd may cancel this contract at any time before the child commences into this course. ‘SK Academy Ltd’ will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from such cancellations.
Parents Responsibility
1. The information submitted on the course registration form must be honest, and accurate, in all respects and the parent/guardian must notify ‘SK Academy Ltd’ of any changes to that given information.
2. When attending the course the child, and parent/guardian, must not be suffering from an infectious disease or illness which could be contagious, or, harmful to other participants of the course.
3. The parent and guardian acknowledges, and agrees, that the child shall be deemed to be under the direction and control of ‘SK Academy Ltd’ throughout the session and shall be responsible for the conduct of the pupil whilst they are on the premises.
4.Parents/Guardians must take FULL responsibility of injury to their child under any circumstance. We encourage all parents to stay and participate in our games but we cannot take responsibility of any injuries sustained.
Discipline
5.In the event that ‘SK Academy Ltd" determines that the behavior of a pupil or carer or guardian to be unacceptable ‘SK Academy Ltd’ will be entitled to exclude or ban the child or parent/guardian from the premises for the remainder of that session, longer, or, indefinitely.

When you register at the beginning of your child playing/attending 'SK Academy Ltd’ ' you automatically agree for 'SK Academy Ltd’ ' to use pictures or videos of your child on any social networking site. If you have any problems with this please speak to the management of SK Academy Ltd’ . Thank you.
SK SPORTS YOUTH CLUB RULES/CONSTITUTION
[All clubs must be properly constituted (E.C.F.A. Rule 2), and are required to institute Rules in accordance with these suggestions]
As recommended by The Football Association
The club shall be called the “SK Sports Association Football Club” and shall be affiliated to the East Herts and West Essex County Football Association.
Its objects shall be to provide association football for its members and such social and recreation pursuits as may be deemed desirable by the Committee.
These rules (the Club Rules) form a binding agreement between each member and the Club.
The Club will also abide by The F.A.’s Child Protection Policies and Procedures, Codes of Conduct and their Equal Opportunities and Anti-Discrimination Policies.
The Officers shall consist of Volunteers all of whom shall be elected at the Annual General Meeting.
The Club shall be controlled by a General Committee consisting of the Officers and Volunteers? other members who shall be elected at the Annual General Meeting.
The General Committee shall meet once per 3 Months and the proceedings at such meetings shall be duly recorded in a Minute Book. At meetings of the General Committee. Members shall form a Quorum.
The Property and/or assets of the Club shall be vested in the General Committee.
The General Committee shall have power to appoint such Sub-Committees as may from time to time be deemed necessary and shall receive reports of such Sub-Committees at its meetings.
The General Committee shall have the power to suspend or expel any member deemed guilty of conduct prejudicial to the good name of the Club.
The General Committee shall have power to fill such vacancies as may arise in its constitution between Annual General Meetings.
The General Committee shall have power to declare a seat vacant should a member absent himself from SK Sports consecutive meetings without any explanation deemed to be satisfactory.
Membership shall consist of playing and non playing members. (Any special conditions relating to membership should be stated here.)
Candidates for election shall be proposed and seconded by Club members.
A register of members of the Club and the date of election shall be kept by the Secretary.
In the event of non-payment of subscription by Players membership shall be deemed to be terminated.
A member wishing to resign shall give notice to this effect in writing to the Secretary, such notice to be accompanied by payment of all outstanding Club dues at that date.
7 Subscription
The Annual Subscription to the Club can be found on the website.
8 Annual Meeting
The Annual General Meeting shall be held not later than August
in each year. The Secretary shall give seven clear days’ notice of such Meetings to all members, at which members shall form a Quorum.
The Financial Statement and Secretary’s Report shall be received by the Meeting which will also elect the Officers and General Committee by ballot, appoint auditors and transact any other business.
9 Extraordinary General Meeting
An Extraordinary General Meeting may be convened by the General Committee when deemed desirable and also upon the written request of SK Sports members.
The Secretary shall give seven clear days’ notice to all members of such a Meeting, at which SK Sports members shall form a Quorum.
10 Finance
The General Committee shall cause to be kept proper set of accounts which shall be audited yearly.
Official receipts for all monies received shall be signed by the Chairman.
11 Alteration to the Rules
No alteration to these Rules shall be made except at the Annual General Meeting or at an Extraordinary General Meeting convened for that purpose and only if supported by members of those present and voting at such a Meeting.
Notice of proposed alteration to these Rules must be given in writing to the Secretary by August in each year and notified to members on notice of Meeting.
12 Other Business
Any matters not governed by the foregoing Rules shall be dealt with by the General Committee, the decision of which body shall be final and binding.
13 Code of Conduct for SK Sports
SK Sports is part of the national game. This code applies to all those involved in football under the auspices of The Football Association. Community – SK Sports at all levels is a vital part of a community. SK Sports will take into account community feeling when making decisions.
Equality – SK Sports is opposed to discrimination of any form and will promote measures to prevent it, in whatever form, from being expressed.
Participants – SK Sports recognises the sense of ownership felt by those who participate at all levels of the game. This includes those who play, those who coach or help in any way, and those who officiate, as well as administrators and supporters. SK Sports Football is committed to appropriate consultation.
Young People – SK Sports acknowledges the extent of its influence over young people and pledges to set a positive example.
Propriety – SK Sports acknowledges that public confidence demands the highest standards of financial and administrative behaviour within the game, and will not tolerate corruption or improper practices.
Trust and Respect – SK Sports will uphold a relationship of trust and respect between all involved in the game, whether they are individuals, clubs or other organisations.
Violence – SK Sports rejects the use of violence of any nature by anyone involved in the game.
Fairness – SK Sports committed to fairness in its dealings with all involved in the game.
Integrity and Fair Play – SK Sports is committed to the principle of playing to win consistent with Fair Play.
14 Code of Conduct for SK Sports Coaches
Coaches are key to the establishment of ethics in SK Sports. Their concept of ethics and their attitude directly affects the behaviour of players under their supervision. Coaches are, therefore, expected to pay particular care to the moral aspect of their conduct.
Coaches have to be aware that almost all of their everyday decisions and choices of actions, as well as strategic targets, have ethical implications.
It is natural that winning constitutes a basic concern for Coaches. This code is not intended to conflict with that. However, the code calls for Coaches to disassociate themselves from a “win-at-all-costs” attitude.
Increased responsibility is requested from Coaches involved in coaching young people. The health, safety, welfare and moral education of young people are a first priority, before the achievement or the reputation of the club, school, coach or parent.
Set out below is The F.A. Coaches Association Code of Conduct (which reflects the standards expressed by the National Coaching Foundation and the National Association of Sports Coaches) that forms the benchmark for all involved in coaching and by which we at SK Sports support and endorse:
Coaches must respect the rights, dignity and worth of each and every person and treat each equally within the context of the sport.
Coaches must place the well-being and safety of each player above all other considerations, including the development of performance.
Coaches must adhere to all guidelines laid down by governing bodies.
Coaches must develop an appropriate working relationship with each player based on mutual trust and respect.
Coaches must not exert undue influence to obtain personal benefit or reward.
Coaches must encourage and guide players to accept responsibility for their own behaviour and performance.
Coaches must ensure that the activities they direct or advocate are appropriate for the age, maturity, experience and ability of players.
Coaches should, at the outset, clarify with the players (and, where appropriate, parent) exactly what is expected of them and also what they are entitled to expect from their coach.
Coaches must co-operate fully with other specialists (e.g. other Coaches, officials, sports scientists, doctors, physiotherapists) in the best interests of the player.
Coaches must always promote the positive aspects of the sport (e.g. fair play) and never condone violations of the Laws of the Game, behaviour contrary to the spirit of the Laws of the Game or relevant rules and regulations or the use of prohibited substances or techniques.
Coaches must consistently display high standards of behaviour and appearance.
Coaches must not use or tolerate inappropriate language.
15 Code of Conduct for SK Sports Players
Players are the most important people in the sport. Playing for the team, and for the team to win, is the most fundamental part of the game. But not winning at any cost – Fair Play and respect for all others in the game is fundamentally important.
This Code focuses on players involved in top-class football. Nevertheless, the key concepts in the Code are valid for players at all levels within SK Sports.
Obligations towards the game, a player should:
Make every effort to develop their own sporting abilities, in terms of skill, technique, tactics and stamina.
Give maximum effort and strive for the best possible performance during a game, even if his team is in a position where the desired result has already been achieved.
Set a positive example for others, particularly other young players and supporters.
Avoid all forms of gamesmanship and time wasting.
Always have regard for the best interests of the game, including where publicly expressing an opinion on the game and any particular aspect of it, including others involved in the game.
Not use inappropriate language.
Obligations towards one’s own team, a player should:
Make every effort consistent with Fair Play and the Laws of the Game to help his own team win.
Resist any influence that might, or might be seen to, bring into question his commitment to the team winning.
Respect for the Laws of the Game and competition rules, a player should:
Know and abide by the Laws, rules and spirit of the game, and the competition rules.
Accept success and failure, victory and defeat, equally.
Resist any temptation to take banned substances or use banned techniques.
Respect towards Opponents, a player should
Treat opponents with due respect at all times, irrespective of the result of the game.
Safeguard the physical fitness of opponents, avoid violence and rough play, and help injured opponents.
Respect towards the Match Officials, a player should:
Accept the decision of the Match Official without protest.
Avoid words or actions that may mislead a Match Official.
Show due respect towards Match Officials.
Respect towards Team Officials, a player should
Abide by the instructions of their Coach and Team Officials, provided they do not contradict the spirit of this Code.
Show due respect towards the Team Officials of the opposition.
16 Code of Conduct for SK Sports Parents / Spectators
SK Sports Parents / Spectators have a great influence on children’s enjoyment and success in football. All our children play football because they first and foremost love the game – it’s fun.
It is important to remember that however good a child becomes at football within our club it is important to reinforce the message to parents / spectators that positive encouragement will contribute to:
Children enjoying football.
A sense of personal achievement.
Self-esteem.
Improving the child’s skills and techniques.
Parent’s / spectator’s expectations and attitudes will have a significant bearing on a child’s attitude towards:
Other players.
Officials.
Managers.
Spectators.
Parents / spectators within our club will ensure they are always positive and encouraging towards all of the children not just their own.
Parents / spectators are encouraged to:
Applaud the opposition as well as your own team.
Avoid coaching the child during the game.
Not to shout and scream.
Respect the referee’s decision.
Give attention to each of the children involved in football not just the most talented.
Give encouragement to everyone to participate in football.
Parents / spectators within our club agree and adhere to the club’s Code of Conduct and Child Protection Procedures.
17 SK Sports Anti-Discrimination and Equal Opportunities Policies
SK Sports Anti-Discrimination Policy
SK Sports is responsible for setting standards and values to apply throughout the club at every level. Football belongs to and should be enjoyed by everyone, equally.
Equality of opportunity at SK Sports means that in all our activities we will not discriminate or in any way treat anyone less favourably, on grounds of sex, sexual orientation, race, nationality, ethnic origin, colour, religion or disability.
SK Sports will not tolerate sexual or racially based harassment or other discriminatory behaviour, whether physical or verbal, and will work to ensure that such behaviour is met with appropriate action in whatever context it occurs.
SK Sports Equal Opportunities Policy
SK Sports is committed to a policy of equal treatment of all members and requires all members of whatever level or authority, to abide and adhere to this general principle and the requirements of the Codes of Practice
issued by the Equal Opportunities Commission and Commission for Racial Equality.
Any member found guilty of discrimination will be instructed to desist forthwith. Since discrimination in its many forms is against the Football Club’s policy, any members offending will be dealt with under the disciplinary procedures.
The Football Club commits itself to the disabled person whenever possible and will treat such members, in aspects of their recruitment and membership, in the same manner as other members. The difficulties of their disablement permitting assistance will be given,
wherever possible to ensure that disabled members are helped in gaining access. Appropriate training will be made to such members who request it.
Complaints & Disciplinary action
The principal reasons for this procedure are not only to ensure that the standards established by The Clubs rules and Codes of Conduct are adhered to, but also to provide fair methods of dealing with alleged failure to observe such rules.
All cases of complaints and disciplinary action, in accordance with this procedure will be recorded and placed in The Clubs records.
The disciplinary procedure is concerned with the following: –

Gross Misconduct
Incompetence
Unsuitability
In normal circumstances the procedure will be followed in full however The Club reserves the right to omit any stages dependent upon the seriousness of the alleged offence(s).
The club has five levels at which a disciplinary action may be invoked, they are: –
Verbal Warning (for minor offences).
First Written Warning (repeated minor offences)
Final Written Warning (should the verbal and/or the first written warnings have no effect)
Membership removal (the Club Member or Official will be informed and will receive a written notice of this decision, together with the reason for removal)
If the removal of membership involves an either a Club Official or Player the Club will inform the Essex FA Registration Secretary and League Secretary in order to deregister the person and to comply with FA requirements.
